Unspeakable Cruelties

Indonesia is in the news in Australia with the revelation that cattle sent live to that nation have been, and no doubt would be inclined to continue, suffering what are described as ‘unspeakable cruelties’ in the processing system of the Indonesian abattoirs. And what happened to the law “thou shalt not kill!”

So AIDS Hasn’t Gone Away

The rate of continuing new Aids infections indicates that there has not been any dramatic success in curtailing the spread of the disease throughout the world over the last decades in judgment of the United Nations organization UNAIDS.

Violent Earth Changes

We must ask ourselves what we humans have done to cause the Earth to become so angry as to behave in a manner that would no longer tolerate civilization as we have created it. We know our wrongdoing against Mother Earth and must feel guilt for destruction of forests, chemical pollutants and excessive mining and resource seeking. But our sins against nature are multiple and as fierce in their way as those shown by nature at present.
