It is earthquakes and volcanic activity, that have been of concern recently – restricted to those who live in near environments to active volcanoes but should be a matter of concern to us all. The reason is that we know very little about what is the true nature of the deep interior of our planet and if we are to avoid disturbing the hot magma beneath the thin surface crust we must take further care.
