Predictions Coming to Pass

What was predicted 50 years ago to be a forthcoming ‘change in the Poles’ is actually predicted by present geologists to be anticipated soon, along with violent solar activities and changes as anticipated by astronomers. Oceanographers know and record the fluctuations in the plates and earth along with volcanic activity deep in our oceans and technicians report irregularities that affect the sea cables that serve us internationally. Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions once a rarity are now a

Earth’s Inner Environment

It is earthquakes and volcanic activity, that have been of concern recently – restricted to those who live in near environments to active volcanoes but should be a matter of concern to us all. The reason is that we know very little about what is the true nature of the deep interior of our planet and if we are to avoid disturbing the hot magma beneath the thin surface crust we must take further care.

Cost of Noise Pollution

Everything we think of as a means of personal defence is costly – to us and will cost much more to those who are likely to experience litigation as more and more people sue for damages as they suffer through noise.

Quietude Worth a Million

Those fortunate to have known the tonic quietude of early hours before dawn have experienced the unusually peaceful atmosphere and appreciate its value. Those who have experienced the same but in the desert wilderness with clear skies will have seen the miraculous starry display that adds an additional and indescribable element of beauty.

Our Planet is Polluted

The analogy that compared humanity as lemmings hastening to the cliff edge would seem appropriate unless two positive motivations result in changes of action. These involve cessation of the production or creation of the chemical toxic pollutants in our human world and lifestyles and a similar cleansing in our minds and consciousness where thought is the prime mover.

Action is Required – To Reduce Pollution

We have really polluted our planet in futile attempts to seek ‘newer’ and ever promising material rewards. This prevailing attitude has led us to an impasse that equally promises us self destruction if we do not cease our addictions – to our own greed for the new and exciting – to chemical drugs both medicinal and ‘recreational’ – to discordant sounds – to ugliness, to violence – to material wealth.

Volcanic Activity

To illustrate the frequency of volcanic activity worldwide and this is possible nowadays because of technology and improved monitoring services, in this month of February and this date, 15th February, 2011 there have already been reports of volcanic eruptions in Guatemala, Colombia, Japan, Congo, Russia, Hawaii, Mexico, Indonesia and Chile.

Earth Becoming Intolerant

We should all anticipate changes that are beyond the changes that technology and human activity has brought about. These are changes directed by Nature, the supreme and overwhelming power that can create, and also shake planets.

Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology – what do we know about the new science emerging ?It would seem that the fundamentals of the science are focussed on the control of matter on an atomic and molecular scale that far exceeds what we know as ‘micro’ science. We know that the latter is being applied constructively in surgical skills and computer science. What will be the field of application of nanotechnology?

Natural Aromatics and the Environment

When disasters occur and fires destroy buildings and commercial factories release enormous clouds of toxic chemicals, they wreak havoc. Fumes from plastics and other chemicals continue to create mini disasters in industrial regions as arson and sabotage tactics are added to the social terrorist mentality and weaponry that exists.
