Women More Likely to Suicide
The actual number of people who suicide is recorded in National Statistics. In Australia it continues to show that there are more males than female with numbers on the rise in rural areas. This is possibly due to the economic downturn in conjunction with farmers’ stress and the enduring years of drought.
The causes of women suicides, regardless of location and social pressures, would seem to relate to mental depression severe enough to motivate them to take antidepressant medication. Women are known to react severely to some antidepressant drugs to the point of suicide. This may seem a strong statement but medical researchers in the psychiatric sphere have shown this to be the case.
It would seem reasonable that we take prescribed antidepressant drugs to relieve our depressed state. But what possible value is there for us to take medication that actually intensifies our symptoms? In spite of this, some of us keep on going. But these strong, toxic psychiatric drugs are proving to be a more dangerous enemy than kind friend.
Perhaps you also have chosen to persist in taking antidepressant medication, and fear to stop or perhaps are ‘hooked’ and cannot.
Because women are extremely emotionally developed and sensitive by nature, it is common that their feelings play a large part as do the regular natural hormonal changes and those that are the result of taking the contraceptive Pill. This last factor complicates health issues and points to a need for total restraint in the use of chemical drugs, medicines and hormones for a period in order to allow Nature to return a natural and healthy condition of mind and body when life seems good again.
It is really a beautiful world!
